Cool news! Showtime's renewed The Affair and Homeland - Season 3 for The Affair and Season 6 for Homeland.

I'm hooked on the current seasons of both so I'm very pleased. Homeland's been gripping and The Affair's so addictive I find myself thinking about it a lot between episodes.

Just this morning I was thinking about Cole's girlfriend and how cool she is. She's my second fave character - my fave is Helen.

Great news indeed!! I love both series. Carrie and the Almighty Saul (Brody once referred to him as such during one of the saddest moments in the series). I also love Helen Solloway, I was sad when Noah decided to abonden his family for that strange Alison.

I'm not sure how long the Affair can go for now the secrets of the accident have been exposed. But the writing of these characters are so rich and layered. Alison has done some stupid things but I have so much of empathy for her - Ruth Wilson is amazing! and so are Maura Tierney and Dom West. A seriously under appreciated show (hardly anyone I know watches it despite being a big winner at the Golden Globes rhe last two years)

Indeed, good acting all around (even from the supporting cast, Helen's condescending mother for one). Great show!
