Chris Evans: the man who needs to save Top Gear

Talk about pressure!

British broadcaster, producer and presenter Chris Evans has been signed to replace punch-happy Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear and there's no telling whether he can save the show or not.

In case you aren't familiar with him... he rose to fame in the UK in the 1990's on a breakfast show called The Big Breakfast and went on to become extremely Rich. He's made "Richest" lists and he's currently very involved with radio - he has his own daily breakfast show on BBC radio.

He's been married three times - once to Doctor Who star Billie Piper.

Of course he denied he was the new Top Gear host before it was announced - as so many do. Back in March there were rumours that he was being considered and he tweeted that there's NO way he'd host the show and now, three months later, he is.

Can the show maintain it's 350 million viewers? Seems unlikely but you never know.
