Vusi Madondo

Vusi is from Stanger in Durban. He is a freelance independent filmmaker and has produced a short film and published an anthology of verse.
He lives in a house with his two brothers and nephew and has a certificate in film and video production from Movietech in Durban. When we asked Vusi if he was involved he grinned: “I got my shorty in California, her name is Pam and she’s my butterfly.”
More about Vusi: “I’m an ex basketball player and swimmer and I love going out, eating (especially big breakfasts), laughing and having a great time with friends. I’m very open-minded but don’t mistake me for a fool ‘cause I’ll diss you back – believe me! “I enjoy comedies and my favourite actor is Marlon Wayans. One of my favourite movies is Friday After Next. It’s hilarious. I hate people who think they are better than others and I don’t like animals or pets. Except maybe a fish in a fishtank. My worst fear is definitely snakes.
“I entered this competition to win the money and make my feature film which will be my dream come true. I can’t wait for the competition to start already – it will be a piece of cake so just bring it on.”
