Margaret Whitton is an American actress best known for her role as Vera Prescott in the 1987 feature film The Secret Of My Succe$s.Other films she has appeared in include National Lampoon Goes to the Movies (1982); Nine 12 Weeks (1986); Ironweed (1987); Major League (1989); Little Monsters (1989); The Man Without a Face (1993) and Major League II (1994).She had a recurring role on the television series Spenser For Hire and guest appearances in shows like Miami Vice and Tales From The Darkside.She has also appeared in a number of made-for-TV movies, including Cat & Mousse (1987); Kojak: None So Blind (1990); The Summer My Father Grew Up (1991); and Menendez: A Killing in Beverly Hills (1994).She was last seen on screen (big or small) in the 1994 film Trial By Jury.
