WTF?! These endless pageants are out of control. Miss World South Africa airs on S3 on 28 October at 18h00, hosted by Minnie Dlamini. The goal: to find an entrant for Miss World in India in December. But we've just had Miss South Africa and Miss SA 2021 Shudu Musida was our contender for Miss World two years ago. This year a different 12 are competing to go. Why? Because the Miss South Africa Organisation has lost its Miss World license to Carol Bouwer Productions.

A heads-up that this is now starting at 18h00 instead of 17h30. Red carpet at 18h00 and pageant at 18h30.

For over 5decades, the winner of Miss SA always qualified to enter Ms World and Miss Universe in particular year. Why change this in 2023? What is this Miss World SA not so long after Miss SA contest. It is just so confusing and unnecessary. Is it deliberately meant to overshadow Miss SA 2023? How were the entrants even selected?
