On the Norway-border-trafficking issue. Sounds horrific. First thing that occurs to me is did anyone alert the media? Or issue a press statement? Also, some times investigative reports take time :: you have to cover a lot of ground to get the facts, and to get them right. And it's particularly time-consuming when people don't want to comment.

Totally with u on the young boy, youth. Fragmented upbringing, fragmented behaviour. When I asked Werner for an update that's what he was telling me. But with u on the overview. The system IS NOT working! And the youngster needs to be given a chance. Will see what we can dig up on Hurricane Katrina!! Sy klink mos rof, ne!! Apparently her husband tried to restrain her and ended up on his butt on the floor! Had me in stitches. Thought it was a good human interest story after all the heavy and DEPRESSING political news :) Otherwise The Dogg is making music on our SMS page. Eish. It's end-of-the-year stuff.

Don't know about loads, but to have a REALLY juicy piece of gossip from the afterparty, but will PM it to you!! And, yip it was a blast. It started on Friday when Meryl couldn't get on her original flight and I ended up giving her a lift to the airport. Girl had a headache from hell and I managed to persuade the cabin crew to find her space so she could lie down ..... and the rollercoaster just never STOPPED! Especially fun to meet Sego and Brown Shuga. Oh heck, have just this minute got a call ... have to be up at 07h30 for Editors Forum meeting with the Anti-Corruption Commission. Wanted to sleep in. DESPERATELY. ... Will have to cut short my nocturnal socialising 2nite. But will catch ya tomorrow on the other stuff. Let me just say, agh, majorities! for now:) Interviewed R this p.m. Wasn't at sharpest because of sleep deprivation ... also Ofu ... anyway ... now, now, now 2 moro ... :)

Sorry I've been so ... woteva I've been. Gwen's flown to Monaco so I've been a bit stretched. Especially today with the Friday edition, and then the whole Hidipo thing. Radio stations were phoning for analysis on that, and wanting to interview me on BBA2 ahead of the finale. Can you believe it?!! Turned them all down :) .................... Restorative Justice. Wow! And u didn't have Richard or Ofu in mind. They would probably say it's destiny judging by what they're saying at present. 14 police officers?!! That's impressive. These things take time, getting the message though that is. The responses on BBA show how much ignorance is out there on especially women and abuse issues, which, of course, affects children. Keep it going ................ Anyway, Gwen insisted that I also go to the finale (Natasha's going), set it up with DStv peeps and presented it to me as a fait accompli! So off tomorrow night. Sunday's generally easiest day on paper, and she's arranged the nuts and bolts of that too. Have to be back at crack of dawn on Monday. Eish! ................ Had very brief chat with Meryl on Wednesday. She was quite exhausted, and I woke her up (ouch!) somewhere around lunch time. Now she's off to the finale. So your request is still hanging simply coz she hasn't been around. Wonder who's going to take the dollars?! Keep well.
