7de Laan’s Dali - one of my wishes this year was to get Nthabi a boyfriend since that is the in thing in Hillside. With Lindile joining Mfundi Vundla, a replacement was needed. Dali fits right in, I loved him as Samuel in Generations as Sharon’s husband and I like him now. I just hope they don’t force him to speak Afrikaans. Because Gita and Nthabi are our veteran struggling Afrikaans learners on behalf of all the struggling students like me. He’s vibrant, easy on the eye and a breath of fresh air.
Scandal’s Dintle - back by popular demand Dintle is now an official cast member of Scandal. She’s manipulative, funny and not brainy. We love me some Dintle, her acting is top notch and she could be mistaken for Tebogo’s sister, Khomotso’s daughter and Cherel’s student.
Scandal’s Dustbin man - why hasn’t any soapie scooped up this talented guy as their permanent cast? Or does he just get off being a supporting actor? He would’ve made a better Smanga in Generations than the current zombie whisperer we have at 8pm. Don’t get me wrong, Smanga isn’t the worst actor I’ve seen, but this guy is emotionless, like a robot. But maybe the Dustbin man is too great for such a role and I can’t picture him under Tau Mogale’s wing.
