Reality TV is a gift…and a curse! The 15 minutes of fame is usually exactly that and seldom anything more for the contestants and winners. But some individuals have been able to break this curse and go on to soar high above the red carpet-lined clouds, and Big Brother Africa contestant, Lomwe is one of those lucky few.
The DJ and radio presenter from Malawi has capitalized on his infamous rap battle with fellow contestant, Zeus from Botswana and is now working on a full length collaboration album with his former housemate. In coming together they have formulated a sound which they describe as edgy and raw as well as a collaboration of their two unique cultures. This is evident in their first single titled, Double Wowza, which has already been well received by fans all over the continent and can be downloaded
here.
The album itself is titled Double Wowza after their debut single and is scheduled for release in June and will feature a host of artists from all over the continent.
Time will tell what the future holds from this duo that has dared to venture into unchartered African waters, but the future definitely looks as bright as the midday sun.
