Julius Malema has become one of the most recognizable faces in the African political arena, having risen as the leader of the ANC Youth League and recently fallen via his expulsion from the party.
The eNews Channel’s Africa 360 features a one-on-one interview with Julius Malema, in the first installment of a two-part discussion.
eNews Africa Editor, Chris Maroleng has a frank discussion with the man who found himself on a collision course with the top brass of South Africa’s ruling African National Congress for his controversial statements.
Even though he has been reprimanded, Julius has remained defiant and his expulsion from the ANC for bringing the party into disrepute could mark the end of his short-lived political career.
Regardless of his current political situation, the notorious politician continues to share his frank views on a range of issues affecting South Africans and the rest of the continent.
The in-depth interview will go beyond the media hype. Africa 360 engages Malema on a range of issues concerning his previous political support of President Jacob Zuma and he shares his views about other African countries. These include NATO’s controversial involvement in Libya’s political turmoil and France’s alleged role in the Ivory Coast’s contested change of guard.
Part Two will be broadcast on Saturday, 24 March.
Africa 360 is on eNews at 11h30.
