Though the store quickly became the centre of a large loving family, an unexpected move forced them from a bustling shopping mall to a quiet store-front cost them most of their customers and revenue.
Now Woof’s business has gone to the dogs, and with few remaining customers and too much merchandise the Serafino family dream is on the verge of collapse.
While Diane stocks the shelves six days a week, George helps the store tread water by working another job. With time working against them and their dreams Peter will help organize their merchandise and cut through the clutter of their store taking them from neighborhood stray, to Top Dog.

Monday, 16 March 2009 at 23h00Brittle Sales Turn Rock SolidThis former lead singer of the rock band, LA Reds, might just be in the red soon if business at her gourmet brittle shop doesn’t pick up.
During holiday season Pauline’s brittle sells out so fast she can’t even keep the shelves filled. But then Pauline uses her holiday revenue to pay the rent for the rest of the year.
To increase her year-round sales, Pauline needs to turn this quaint country kitchen into a modern decadent delight and lure in LA’s high-end shoppers! Peter walks in and instantly identifies the problems with the store: the exterior is colorful, but you can’t read the sign and you can’t see into the shop.
The country kitchen interior doesn’t reflect the style of this LA woman. And she’s not attracting the clientele who could really make Pauline’s Handmade brittle a go-to year round treat! Peter helps Pauline appeal to her big city audience and gets her brittle sales back on solid ground.

Monday, 23 March 2009 at 23h00A True Work of ArtArtist and entrepreneur Ponti Lambros wanted to create a business that would bring art to the masses. With that idea in mind he opened Art Rebel in 2007, and began offering a sanctuary for professional and uninitiated artists to create. But things at Art Rebel haven’t gone entirely to plan.
With few potential customers stopping in and even fewer paying for Art Rebel’s services, Ponti has accumulated a mountain of debt with no revenue to pay it off. While Art Rebel also employs Ponti’s fiancée and sisters, they all work second jobs to pay their bills.
Meanwhile, the store remains unorganized, cluttered, and uninspiring. Peter will revamp the image of this blank canvas and create a new vision for Ponti and his family that will turn this store into a true work of art.

Monday, 30 March at 23h00Put the Pedal to the MetalYoung married couple John and Heather have taken over the family business, Hawthorne Tire, and inherited its debt and dilapidated interior. Without the money to make changes and stimulate new business, they risk losing it all.
John literally grew up at Hawthorne Tire and is now raising his baby daughter there. He and his wife Heather love their shop and want to keep the family business moving. They are an honest repair shop that really appeals to women and families in the community.
Although they’ve been cruising by for years, these days they’re close to running on empty. This shop is in need of a serious tune up! Peter walks in and knows exactly what to do. This family friendly neighborhood garage needs a family friendly sitting area, a place where women feel comfortable waiting and kids feel safe playing.
The customer service area and office are a mess in general, but alignment is totally off for Heather who can’t even see over the counter and has to change the baby on a cabinet next to the fax machine. If this is really the next generation in auto repair, it’s time for the next generation to move full throttle into the future.

Monday, 16 March 2009 at 21h00Behind the scenes of the Messiest Home 2Phil and Mindy Wheeler were the winners of the show’s second Messiest Home in America contest… if you could call people who live in the country’s most disgusting home winners. The Wheelers certainly earned the title, presenting the experts with an unholy level of filth and depravity usually reserved for Russ Meyer movies.
An exhilarating journey into darkness and despair best compared to Joseph Conrad’s “Heart of Darkness,” the Messiest Home in America 2 took the couple to Temple, Pennsylvania, where they encountered here-to-fore amounts of clutter seen only in New Jersey landfills.
They also experienced such an array of strange odors, that the nose hairs of cast members were actually singed, with one reportedly needing a nostril-ectomy upon returning to California.
As with all episodes, the clutter was terminated with extreme prejudice. But the last words uttered by Trish Suhr as the experts left the east coast behind and headed back to Los Angeles was rumored to be, “The horror, the horror.”
