A Non Judgemental person may view something that is obviously wrong in the sense of causing harm to others,with dismay or sadness but without conescension.
Other traits of arrogance include the "Im right,You're Wrong"approach to communication Highly charged negative words and 'YOU' statements in general can also Suggest ARROGANCE,such as Presuming to tell Someone else what her/his problem is! We have people like that on Tvsa!
Arrogance slams the door of communication...Whats left to say afrter someone has proclaimed the final word on a subject?Arrogance is often a camaflage for a fear of VULNERABILITY and of being JUDGED and Found Wanting....You'll often find Kuthi arrogant people have gone through some Brutal childhood experiences and have erected this type of WALL around themselves...Quick to go on the OFFENSIVE with people -their Automatic thinking is "Put them down before they get me" Although this usually backfires because all it does is Attract Retaliation!
Arrogance might be CHOSEN because it gives the person a chance to let off steam!!!!its a continual opportunity to judge others negatively and get ANGRY about Them!While often hard to spot Arrogance,sometimes comes stealthy disised as just "Being Honest'
Whe someone is acting arrogant no one else in their eyes is an Equal,Other People are either GREATER orLESS ,BETTER or WORSE,SMATER or DUMPER......If you start out an arrogant person pedestal,watch out coz HE/SHE will eventually Knock you off it and STOMP you into the ground!Often for irrational reasons...The real reason is that HE/SHE is playing out some sort of Internal GREATER THAN/LESS THAN SCENARIO....and its not really about you at all!!!!!
The Arrogant person expects Others to accept any statements simply on HIS/HER Authority without examining the Evidence!often the arrogant person will not present any evidence Arguments or references.They have that HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY QUESTION ME ATTITUDE!!!!!!! Arrogance ic DIVISIVE and ISOLATING!
The confident person ENGAGES in Dialogues,Choosing to Present Arguments that ACTIVATE the other person's thinking Process,Rather than trying to BULLY the other person and OverWhelm His/HER OWN JUDGEMENT>>>>>
TAKES on TASKS or goals that have not successfully completed before ,instead of tackling a project you've done easily before branch out-try something unRelated and Challenging...spend more time on ACCOMPLISHING goals than BOASTING ABOUT YOUR SUCCESS....
Finally make a pact to try IMPRESS Others by your ACTIONS rather than your WORDS,and when you Succeed in ALLOWING yoself Confidence to speak for ITSELF DONT LET IT GO TO YOUR HEAD!
