What was called the national teams weekend has gone by and there are mixed fortunes for the SA national teams that took part during the weekend.

Amaglug-glug
As of now i can safely say we are not going to be represented at the olimpics in 2008, our Under23 went down 3-1 in what i can say was a good game on sartuday. the weakest link in our team was the defence which strugled to defend against high balls coming straight down the middle of the park as the three goals Ghana scored came the same way. the next two ganes are the away ganes in Ghana and Nigeria respectively and i dont see us winning any of those two games.

Bafana-bafana

Although we had already qualified for the Nations cup in Ghana I expected us to win against Zambia. After 20mins we were alrready 3goals down courtesy of a Katongo hattric, Benny restored some pride for Bafana with the solitary goal in the second half(welcome back Benny) mara why o kuka Chansa after the red card Chansa was given.Meet you at Ellis Park this wednesday against Uruguay. i didnt see mich of this match as i was watching the Rugby.

BOKKE
ee
in what was much of an easier game the Boks never disappoint, after a slow start in the first half our boys came out firing from all cylinders in the second half, thakns to 4tries by habana and 2 form Montgomery and J Fourie and JP scored a single try each. But guys i think Joke should play Ricki at Scrumhalf instead of Du Preez, the guy was not convincing , but i think against England things will change.
Go Bokkke Go Bokke.

F1
it was a one-two finish for Mclaren, though i am a Ferrari fan i think the Mclaren guys have done enough to win this year's championship. it is going to be a interesting batlle between Hamilton and Alonso for the first position.

- well to Federrar for winning the fourth US open in a row the guy is just too good(forget the french open)

I hate to say this but i actually enjoyed Bafana being beaten by Zambia especially since everything thing was Benni this and Benni that. It would have been worse if we won, i am sure we were going to hear more of the Benni magic for years to come but instead his aggressiveness eased the situation.............. hi hi hi

Bafana-Bafana performed below par, i mean the defense was all over the show, they made elementary mistakes and poor zothwane had an oblivious game, i cant help it but feel sorry for him and to add salt to the wound the crowd cheered as he was substituted. Benny's frenzy was the only good think about the game.

I missed the Amaglug-glug game, but  they i just not cutting, its all in vain now, i really cant see them  coming away with victory in the two tough encounters.

The Bokke did us proud, this our world cup!

You know wena Madenza, I was shocked, watching the game ya Bafana Bafana? What an isht!!!!! In 19 minutes nje, all it took was 19 minutes to finish them off, with 3 goals nogal!!! The rest of the game was just defending to make sure that BafanA does not score.
Hai mara Katongo wa di busa nine9. I could have sworn I saw Jomo Sono somewhere at the stadium, with a grin on his face and *that's my boy, I taught him how to do all that* pasted all over his forehead! LMAO

But at least the *prodigal* son gave us a consolation goal and shut all his critic up! Tata Benni boy..................  Hi-hi

Eish, I am getting carried away Madenza le nna ke a ipona, the joys of the beautiful game, laduuuuuuuuuuuuumaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

What happened to patriotism mara he? Benni McCarthy might be South African soccer's sexiest cry baby but we needed to win that game,  AFCON 2008, not to mention the 2010 world cup remember???? Focus Babyjoe ke a go rapela, focus!  Think long term, out of the box, victory, reputation     yadayadayadayadayaaaaaaaaaaaada

@ Embryo: I missed the Amaglug-glug game....
I wish I was you! They also lost 3-1, nothing special really. Unless you of-course consider-dripping-wet-stuck-in-torso-shirts-because-of-sweat-outta-breath-and-muscular-hot-bods-and-sensitive-babies-all-over-the-ground-running-around-after-a-ball something special!!!... Eish, but the again maybe not because Embryo is a male LMAO

@Madenza....what do you think of Alonso's beeff with Hamilton. When Barichelo won couple of races you NEVER heard Schumi crying like some lil boy who got his toy missing. And he's supposed to be the Champ???

MADENZA

@Bizza- I think Alonso is acting a bit amateurish considering that he has been in
the game longer than Lewis. He should stop jealousing the young man
and beat him on the track.remember Hamilton is British and the first
black to get podium finishs in his debut  therefore he is guarateed more
coverage from the media therefore a  favour from Mclaren who r british.
@Benni- as much as i think he is a cry baby i think we need him in our team at this moment because we dont have reputable goal poachers in this country and he is doing well in the biggest league in the world.

@Madenza....did you read Alonso's comment on motoring.co.za?this guy is really out of his mind.

i read the article and yes the dude is really losing it.
- if the team does not want him to win they can easily mess up his car, as much as i dont like Lewis i hope he wins this batlle.
