Noted is an arts programme described as a Gig Guide that covers the hottest musical happenings, the hippest venues and what shouldn't be missed on the South African arts scene.
The show is hosted by radio jock Fiona Furey and is presented from a different location every week.
Every week the programme features guests, live performances, the latest news and gossip and inserts that give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the current SA arts world and events on the social calendar.
The roving inserts are presented by other female radio personalities – who bring their insider knowledge of their neck of the woods to the mix.
Noted isn't just a gig guide – it's also a show that explores the South African identity through our music and other arts genre. It's a picture of the SA arts world – but within and as a burgeoning member of the international scene.
Guests are celebs everyone is talking about, or "best-kept secrets" who everyone should be talking about. They are given a platform on which to perform or display their most recent creations.
Comfortable with everyone, Fiona finds out just why they're so hot at the moment, but she also digs deeper to get below the surface media release info.
At the same time, guests are encouraged to interact with one another and co-host the show, to give their views on other content, share stories that shed light on other featured artists and make connections between the different forms of creative expression, as well as the South African and global scene.
