Season 1
Entourage is an American comedy-drama television series created by Doug Ellin that chronicles the rise of Vincent Chase — a young A-list movie star — and his childhood friends from Queens, New York City as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Hollywood, California.
The series aired in the USA on HBO from 18 July, 2004 to 11 September, 2011. There are 96 half-hour episodes in eight seasons.
Entourage originally aired in South Africa on DStv's GO channel (which became Vuzu in July 2009) from 4 April, 2007 to 14 November, 2011. It later aired on TopTV's Fox FX channel. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times.
Season 1 originally aired on GO from 4 April to 23 May, 2007, on Wednesdays at 21h30. New episodes broadcast weekly.
Season 1 later aired on Fox FX from 3-13 May, 2010. New episodes broadcast from Mondays to Thursdays at 21h15. There are eight episodes in the first season.

Synopsis
Vince Chase is a sexy young movie star whose career is just taking off. To share the fun of the ride and keep him grounded, Vince looks to Eric and Turtle, his longtime pals from Queens, and his half-brother, Johnny "Drama" Chase - his entourage.
Together, they share the ups and downs of life in the fast lane of Hollywood - where the stakes are high and the money and temptations are greater than ever before.
Vince is an actor on the verge of stardom. Eric is Vince's closest confidante who's learning the rules of the business as he tries to help Vince make the right choices and keep his goals aimed high.
Vince's half-brother is Johnny Drama, whose own acting aspirations have been eclipsed by Vince's success. That doesn't stop Johnny from constantly looking for work and going to auditions.
Turtle is the least experienced of the group but is always up for a good time.
Ari is Vince's aggressive, high-powered agent, who clashes with Eric over his client's decisions in spectacular fashion.
Other characters include Vince's publicist Shauna, Ari's assistant Emily, and Eric's ex-girlfriend Kristen.
