Strictly Come Dancing: The Story So Far is a South African television special produced by Rapid Blue which serves as a precursor to the fifth season of the reality dance competition Strictly Come Dancing.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Story So Far is a one-hour special which is an entertaining and vibrant recap of the first four seasons of Strictly Come Dancing, as well as a preview of the line-up for Season 5 (which premieres on Thursday 2 October).
Strictly Come Dancing has enjoyed strong TV ratings ever since it premiered on SABC2 four seasons ago. The show’s diverse mix of celebrities trying to master complicated dance steps has also seen their public profiles reaching new heights due to the show’s popularity.
Strictly Come Dancing: The Story So Far will chronicle the glamorous history of what has become one of SABC2's top priorities over the years.
The special takes viewers down memory lane while reliving some of the glorious (and not-so-glorious) achievements of contestants past, and provides an intimate glimpse into the 10 new celebrities who will be competing in the fifth season.
