Episode 58

Selo arranges a peaceful sit down with Kgosi. Kgosi is gunned down. Reba hides her emotions to Buzwe. Damian becomes obsessed with giving Violet a proper send off. Selo eases his guilt by telling Damian that Namane Funerals is making a handsome contribution towards Violet's funeral.

Episode 59

Tsietsi and Selo argue. Buzwe and Tsietsi prepare for the trial. Tsietsi goes to Nkomonde for strengthening for the trial. Stitch makes a surprise appearance at Violet's memorial. A new girl Disebo (played by Shoki Mokgapa) arrives and makes a good impression at Namane Funerals.

Episode 60

The Namane family gears up for Tsietsi's trial. Tension between Mandlakazi and Reba resurface. Tsietsi's ritual preparations for the trial force him to stay away from Mpho. Damian struggles to adjust to Disebo's presence at Namane Funerals.

Episode 61

Bab'Nkomonde fortifies Tsietsi before the trial. Buzwe cuts Nkonzo down during the cross examination. The Prosecution introduces a surprise witness. Reba pulls a gun on Solomon.

Episode 62

Buzwe tampers with matters of the heart hoping to turn Stitch's deadly statement around. Reba has to ask for reinforcements from Mickey when Solomon places her in a difficult corner. Nkonzo puts Mpho under intense pressure.

Episode 63

Selo tries to stop Reba's increasing involvement in the gun running. Selo cheats on Mandlakazi. Tsietsi makes a recording to his unborn babies. Buzwe is not going to compromise on his work to make Reba happy. Disebo is being initiated by Damian.

Thursday 9 June 2016
Episode 64

Mpho takes the witness stand and changes her statement. Selo takes the stand and testifies about the tough choice of having to kill one son to allow Mandlakazi to live. Nokulunga wants Selo to come clean about Makhoza to Mandlakazi.

Friday 10 June 2016
Episode 65

Mpho is afraid to go home and face Reba. Reba clashes with Mandlakazi over her testimony. In court, Mandlakazi defends Tsietsi's actions. Buzwe humiliates Reba on the stand. Tsietsi awaits the final verdict.

Monday 13 June 2016
Episode 66

Tensions boil over in the Namane home as an overjoyed Mandlakazi prepares to welcome Tsietsi back into the Namane home. Nokulunga corners Selo and gives him the ultimatum about telling Mandlakazi the truth. Zungu is unnerved to discover that Nkonzo has been investigating the Namanes for some time.

Episode 67

Nkonzo comes clean to Zungu in hope that she will follow up on his claims regarding the Namanes. Mandlakazi helps Buzwe to make peace with Reba. Damian is oblivious to his new admirer.

Wednesday 15 June 2016
Episode 68

Nkonzo is out on bail. Tsietsi demands his office back but Mandlakazi puts him in his place. Reba decides to leverage Patience's crush on Damian. Damian realizes that Patience is after his body.

Thursday 16 June 2016
Episode 69

Nkonzo flies off the rails and does the unthinkable when Zungu refuses to help him. Reba wields her powers over Tsietsi but when confronted by him, remains afraid and vulnerable. Damian realizes that Patience is a chubby chaser.

Friday 17 June 2016
Episode 70

Nkonzo holds Selo and Mandlakazi hostage. Tsietsi’s dislike of Reba is being re-awoken. The hostage incident takes its toll on Mandlakazi and her sensitive heart condition is compromised. The situation comes to a head when Nkonzo finds out where the baby is buried.

Monday 20 June 2016
Episode 71

Mpho fears for her own twins. Selo refuses to reveal where the baby's bones are buried. Bab'Hlongwane cannot reverse the ukuthwala curse. Nkonzo is shot. Selo and Mandlakazi are saved. Nkonzo ends up in jail feeling like a failure. Damian and Disebo are mesmerized by Sbu's heroic night.

Episode 72

Tsietsi makes contact with an old flame, Malaika (played by Thuli Thabethe). For more about her, please see: Thuli Thabethe to play Tsietsi's former flame on Ashes.

Mandlakazi consults Thandeka about helping her remove the curse from the family. Thandeka advises Mandlakazi to give away all the Namane wealth they got from using dark magic. Mam' Mazibuko visits Nkozo in jail and tells him she will continue where he left off with the Namanes.

Episode 73

Tsietsi messes up big time in a meeting, but tries to pull a fast one on Reba. Damian lays down the law with Patience, but with dire consequences for him. Ma’Mazibuko uses her muti and gets Rose singing like a canary about the Namane secrets.

Episode 74

Tsietsi and Reba work together, but Tsietsi has to relinquish the pitch to Reba in order to meet Pitso in Ficksburg. Nokulunga is ducking a lovely older gentleman. Disebo is freaking out about being replaced by a better candidate and takes matters into her own hands.

Episode 75

Reba forces her way into the driver's seat of the AWUSA deal, stepping on Mpho's feelings in the process. Mickey is met with a financial hurdle in acquiring Kgosi's Restaurant and has some difficult options to consider. Disebo wants Violet's position.

Monday 27 June 2016
Episode 76

Mpho puts her foot down that Tsietsi needs to choose between AWUSA or their marriage. Abomzala Catering has clinched a lucrative deal with a prestigious wedding.

When the bail money comes through, Nokulunga offers to plant it into the business to strengthen her power as a partner. Disebo gets appointed permanently as junior planner and gets her first client.

Episode 77

Ma’Mazibuko and Mpho's bond grows while Mpho and Mandlakazi grow further apart. Tsietsi agrees to stay away from Malaika and feels side-lined when Reba is praised for snagging the AWUSA deal for Namane Funerals. Disebo manages to hide her mess ups at work from Damian.

Episode 78

Selo gets frustrated and it seems Nokulunga has him where she wants him. Temptation presents itself to Tsietsi when Mpho goes away and he is not very strong at resisting it. Disebo messes up big time.

Thursday 30 June 2016
Episode 79

Buzwe and Tsietsi's ego clash starts gaining traction over their differences over AWUSA. Nokulunga convinces Joseph to bid for Kgosi against Mickey. Mantsho is not convinced that Mpho is happy with Tsietsi. Disebo has a double funeral to organize in 24 hours.

Ashes to Ashes is on e.tv Mndays to Fridays at 20h00.

Nkonzo finds out where that baby is buried........ (guess the revenge is about the baby they are talking about). Liyajika ivili Nkonzo going to prison and Tsietsi free and back at the Namane funerals.

Mam' Mazibuko visits Nkozo in jail and tells him she will continue where he left off with the Namanes. (this is serious mos hope she doesn't hurt the twins as she gets closer to Mpho)

Kwaaaaaa, Khumbulekhaya must start earning their money and find our comrades. I must say that I am very disappointed with the way Ashes is going. I am very unhappy MaAshes. Violet is dead and Tsietsi is getting off scott free. Whhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaat, I AM NOT HAPPY

. Tsietsi getting away with murder would have worked out better if Monwabisi was a horrible person, but he wasn't. Damnit I am upset. And Violet and Dae doing the YMCA. I am starting a petition MaAshes, #BringBackViolet or else #TsietsiMustFall.

In a nutshell, Violet was evicted from her apartment, and Dae caught her whilst busy getting ready at the Namane funerals bathrom, she lied to Dae and said she was out partying the whole night and didn't have time to go home and change. Namane Funerals started a campaign to get more customers and it worked for a while cos I think they promised people a sheep for joining. It worked for a while until the lady from the chicken came and discouraged people from joining Namane Funerals, complaining that they burnt down her stall.
Bhele is still having visions of Morapedi, and this time it was very visual cos his heart started bleeding. The spooky kooky guy came back and he was complaining about hunger and he refered to him in the plural. Mpho (with a funny looking baby bump, is that a bloody ball in her stomach), got ready to go on a date with Tsietsi but Tsietsi never made it to the date cos he was snatched again by men with guns.

I am very upset MaAshes, whi MaV though. Couldn't they kill Mpho instead, it would be along the lines of the theme of the cursed Namanes.

Did anyone watch Zbondiwe last night, OMG, I watch it with some medical practitioners and they were not impressed with what happened last night during Killer's scene when he was being rescucitated. Anyway, are they saying that the police are just going to believe that that is Killer based on the gunshot wounds suistained, really, if so then the police are stupid.
I must say that Ukhakhayi has grown on me. I see sparks between Madoda and Zamampondo.

I was so sad when Thembi was telling the story of what she witnessed when Mnqobi killed her father. She had me in tears. I don't condone violence but I found myself thinking that Mnqobi deserves what he got and more.
I am kind of hoping and praying that the person being covered in cement is not Spikiri but knowing Umlilo, I shouldn't raise my hopes to high.
Hawu Palesa, what the heck? Does she want to get married for the sake of getting married or what the hell.

So, Tsietsi has revealed the real reason why he appears to be showering Mpho with love. He is one selfish person. Am starting to realise that Mpho is what we call flighty, if a man shows her affection she falls for that man. I almost threw a punch at her when she said that tsietsi was sacrificing for the family cos he stayed for the ritual instead of going off to look for a lawyer. I am starting to warm up to Buzwe and Reba together.

The Namanes shouldn't even think about having a party whilst the employees are not paid.

When they said they were going to buy one drink which they will share, I was done. Yep, there was a whole blowout between Nokulunga and Kazi on what happened in the past. Nokulunga told Kazi that she could have any man that she wanted but she had to steal Selo from Nokulunga, and then as an act of reveng, Nokulunga slept with Selo in their bed. She was more upset with Nokulunga cos they were besties when they were growing up.
Reba stood up to Tsiesti and told him that she wants his shares, Tsietsi was like but you are supposed to be goody two shoes and she asked him whether he was not impressed with her cos she was now more like her. Kazi went back to work, the strike finished and they all went back to work cos they were paid half their salary. We met Lara, who has a brother in jail and in exchange fpr protecting her brother, she has to do the gun run for Kgosi.

The scene where Thembi was raped traumatised me, in my dream I was raped at the end I stabbed to death the person who raped me (I guess the stabbing part was Welcome & Thembi's scene)........ Thembi makes love Umlilo more & more, I thought she had given up after the rape but nonononono she's still on the game.

Vi's death has devastated me, I felt every moment of Dae's grief and I absolutely loved it when he let Mandlakazi have it for the way they all treated Vi when she was alive. Stitch should have showed up with a hot lady just to rub it in Reba's face.
