Description

Ja'mie: Private School Girl is an Australian mockumentary television comedy series created by and starring comedian Chris Lilley and set at a private girls' grammar school in Sydney's wealthy North Shore district, which follows Ja'mie King, a character who previously appeared in Lilley's series We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High, during her final weeks of high school.

From Chris Lilley, the creator, writer and star of Summer Heights High and Angry Boys, comes the continuing story of Ja'mie King, a conniving Year 12 student at Hillford Girls Grammar, a tony private school in Sydney, Australia.

The b*tch is back ... and she's meaner than ever.

Ja'mie: Private School Girl follows the eponymous school captain during the last few months of her final year of school, far removed from the grounds of Summer Heights High and back on the lush manicured lawns of Hillford Girls Grammar School.

Returning to her private school roots, the series highlights the trials and responsibilities that come with being the "most well-known" girl on campus, including her academic and charity work, social life and relationships with family.

Ja'mie, the self-promoting "queen bee" of Summer Heights High, returns from an exchange semester at that public school for her last three months at Hillford, where she's the unchallenged diva among the school's most popular girls, as well as the school captain.

After passing her school days cooing with fellow prefects and dissing the "boarders," Ja'mie turns her attention to conquering members of the opposite sex enrolled nearby at Kelton Boys Grammar. She also finds herself in a number of jams that incite the wrath of school officials and her parents.

This time around there's not one but two new love interests pining for her affection, a few catfights, some un-friending, a lot of 'gramming (Instagram for those not in the know) and a sexting scandal thrown in for good measure.

Her callous manipulations begin to wear thin as a few brave girls start to challenge Ja'mie's reign. But she'll stop at nothing to have the last word, emboldened by her hot-girl entourage. Clothes, cars, boys, parties ...  Ja'mie has it all, and her overriding goal is to win the Hillford Medal.

Ja'mie: Private School Girl was created by Chris Lilley, who is also the series' writer, star and co-producer; Laura Waters executive produces; directed by Chris Lilley and Stuart McDonald.
