Description

Dallas is an American television drama series developed by Cynthia Cidre as a continuation of the original series of the same name that aired on CBS from 1978-1991, which includes several actors/characters from the original series and focuses mainly on John Ross Ewing III and Christopher Ewing, the adult sons of Ewing brothers J. R. and Bobby, respectively, and their relationship with their fathers.

The exciting drama brings back three iconic stars from the original Dallas: Patrick Duffy as Bobby Ewing, Linda Gray as Sue Ellen Ewing and Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing (Hagman passed away before the end of the second season). They are joined by the next generation of Ewings, who take ambition and deception to a new level.

This time, they're joined by the next generation of Ewings, who take ambition and deception to a wicked new level. The battle for power, love and Southfork erupts in the new Dallas.

The new Dallas stars Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo and Brenda Strong, and they are joined by iconic stars Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray and Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing.

The explosive rivalry between brothers J.R. and Bobby (Duffy) now lives on through another generation, with the future of the family fortune in the hands of the Ewing offspring: cousins John Ross Ewing (Henderson), the son of J.R. and ex-wife Sue Ellen (Gray), and Christopher Ewing (Metcalfe), the adopted son of Bobby.

Shot on location in the title city, Dallas comes to TNT from Warner Horizon Television, with writer Cynthia Cidre and Michael M. Robin serving as executive producers. TNT's Dallas is based upon the series created by David Jacobs.
