Mina Nawe is a South African television drama series about two high school sweethearts who meet up again after a number of years and rekindle their relationship, despite the fact that one of them is married with children.
Funeka (Tango Ncetezo) is a 29-year-old single woman whose sole mission is to marry the man of her dreams. Funeka and Sakhile (Solomon Sebothoma) used to be high school sweethearts but separated to pursue their career and dreams.
Eight years later they meet again, old flames are re-kindled and they start having an affair. The problem is that Sakhile is now married to Dineo (Sibusisiwe Jili) and they have two children together.
Like all flings, Funeka and Sakhile's affair starts off as a fun secret between old flames, but quickly descends into a nightmarish comedy of errors.
The series stars Solomon Sebothoma as Sakhile, Tango Ncetezo as Funeka, Sibusisiwe Jili as Dineo, Nolwazi Shange as Sheila, Yonda Thomas as Pule, Angela Sithole as Kedibone and newcomer Kayise Ngqula as Portia.
Mina Nawe was directed by Zolani Phakade and written by Kgatlhiso Sephiri, Mbulungeni Sinyosi, Khanyisa Jali, Ayanda Halimana and Melusi Luthuli.

Sakhile (Solomon Sebothoma)
Sakhile is a cool guy and businessman. Ladies want to be with him and guys want to be him. He has it all, but his flaws could lead him to lose it all.
Funeka (Tango Ncetezo)
Successful commercial attorney Funeka is still holding on to the past. She will stop at nothing to get what she believes belongs to her.
Dineo (Sibusisiwe Jili)
Family-oriented superwoman Dineo can be loyal to a fault. But push her hard enough and you will meet her subtly deceitful nature.
Sheila (Nolwazi Shange)
Adventurous, independent and highly ambitious Sheila is known for her impolite and brutal delivery of the truth. She's a great friend, but the advice she gives isn't always great.
Pule (Yonda Thomas)
Playa of note Pule is deep in debt because he lives beyond his means. He can barely afford the instalments towards his "Vrrr Pha" and his Midrand townhouse.
Kedibone (Angela Sithole)
Cliche "yellow-bone" Kedibone wants all the good things in life without the responsibilities attached to them. Her long term goals include getting a blesser who can maintain her lifestyle.
Portia (Kayise Ngqula)
Portia is sober-minded, charming and very focused. Whilst she is beautiful and comfortable in her own skin, she sometimes lacks the courage to stand up for herself.
