About the Show

Whacked Out Sports is a reality comedy television series created by Mark O'Brien featuring bloopers from the world of sport, from colliding cars, shocking stunts and soccer fans gone berserk to gross-out eating contests and bizarre sports oddities.

The series originally premiered in the USA on 7 September 2006.

Whacked Out Sports premieres in South Africa on DStv's Zone Reality channel on Saturday 2 February 2008, at 20h00. The half-hour episodes air as a double-bill every week.

Synopsis

Whacked Out Sports features entertaining footage of bone-crunching accidents from the world of sport. It is jam-packed with injuring impacts, devastating damage and plenty of pain, all in the name of entertainment.

Unlike many home-video shows, Whacked Out Sports does not limit itself to videos in which those depicted escape serious injury - the narrator frequently derides hopelessly injured athletes and innocent bystanders.

Both amateur and professional footage from the World’s Most Amazing franchise are used to create this unique look at spectator sport gone terribly wrong.
