Merge is an American reality makeover show hosted by Lisa Rinna in which couples with differing design tastes are helped to "merge" their styles in a complete redesign of their homes.
The series originally aired in the USA on Lifetime from 2003 - 2005. There are 44 hour-long episodes in three seasons.
Merge premiered in South Africa on DStv's The Home Channel on Saturday 26 January 2008, at 14h00.

Synopsis
Merge takes viewers where no home decorating show has gone before by merging roommates with totally different styles.
With a behind-the-scenes look at the actual design process, the show highlights the dilemmas leading up to a successful home makeover and the drama that ensues when abodes are transformed.
With the help of professional designer Angelo Surmelis, the couples try to combine their separate personal belongings into a single household.
The toughest decisions involve not what to keep, but what to throw away - especially since the discarded items are ground into nothingness by "The Shredder," a one-ton machine built for the express purpose of destroying awkward furniture.
