It seems Noluthando Meje's eventually decided to stop auditioning for Idols. The pint-sized serial auditionee has been on Idols three times and definitely won't be on the upcoming Idols 8 because she's on the new season of Jam Alley: Crew vs Crew.

Season 2 of the Jam Alley spin-off premieres this Friday (30 March) and sees Nolly hooking up with Slikour to co-host. They'll be joined by Metro FM presenter DJ Sphectacula who's signed up to spin the decks and judge the competing talent.

DJ Sphe Jam Alley

The series is DJ Sphe's first headline TV presenting gig and Nolly's third. Besides her numerous stints on Idols, she hosted the SABC2 series' Keeping it Real and What's Your Story and has also had guest roles on Shooting Stars, Home Affairs, Interrogation Room and Silent Witness.

The Jam Alley concept has been a popular property for SABC1 for about 19 years and has gone though various format changes over time. Crew vs Crew arrived as a spin-off in May last year and introduced various conceptual changes including the arrival of Slikour.

The new 26-episode season premieres on Friday at 18h00. For more about it, see: TVSA's Jam Alley: Crew vs Crew 2 Show Page.

I love Nolly but I'm sorry I'm not watching that Crew vs Crew or Jam Alley thing. SABC has two damce shows on the same channel and they both suck!

Instead of commissioning shows such as Late Night with Kgomotso, they keep on pumping money on useless things like the former amentioned.

Quality shows make more sense than quantity crap! That's if you value airtime!!!
