Why do you want to sing Gospel?
I was born in a Christian home with Gospel music playing every day, it’s in me now.
Who is your favourite local Gospel artist?
William Sejake, Bryan Makiwane.
What will you do with the R100,000 if you win?
I want to buy powerful sound equipment for my father’s church and keep for my child’s schooling, who is seven months.
What will you bring that is different if you win the recording album?
I love jazz so I would love to fuse jazz with Gospel and a bit of R&B.
What don’t people know about you?
I am a person who loves my own space.
Who inspires you?
My brother because he is into music and he has been around me to show me a lot of stuff.
What has been your most difficult thing you had to overcome?
Almost losing my brother in a car accident, it took him a while to recover and I was there for him through it all. And having to lose a friend who was stabbed.
Who/ what makes you happy?
My kid.
