Jenny Bristow is an Irish cook, food writer and television personality best known for hosting her own cookery series Jenny Bristow Cooks Gloriously Good Food, in 2001.
Jenny was raised near Coleraine in Northern Ireland, on her family's dairy farm. She now lives with her husband and their three children at their farm near Cullybackey in County Antrim, which is also the backdrop and location for recording the Jenny Bristow TV cookery series.
In 2001 UTV broadcast the series Jenny Bristow Cooks Gloriously Good Food. The accompanying book went to the top of the bestseller list, and remained in the top five for seven months.
The book was also selected as one of the seven Best Television Cookbooks in English (along with books by Jamie Oliver and Nigella Lawson) in the Gourmand World Cookbook Award 2001.
Jenny is a best-selling author of 12 cookery books, and was the Sunday Times No.1 best selling author.
Jenny writes regular columns for newspapers and magazines ad is involved in hosting cookery demonstrations and corporate events for food related conferences.
