Chris Vance is an English-born Australian actor best known for his role as James Whistler on the third and fourth seasons of the television drama series Prison Break, from 2007-2008.

He later starred in Mental (2009) and Transporter: The Series, in 2012. He first found fame in the Australian medical drama All Saints, from 2005-2007.

Chris has also had major recurring roles in Dexter, Burn Notice and Rizzoli & Isles, as well as guest turns in numerous television series including Kavanagh QC, The Bill, The Secret Life of Us and Fairly Legal.

Vance attended St Bedes Secondary School in Lawrence Weston, Bristol. He then attended Newcastle University, graduating with a degree in civil engineering.
