Thembi Nyandeni is a South African actress best known for her role as Selina Khumba in the SABC1 drama series Zone 14, since 2005.
She also had a starring role as Mkabayi Zungu, the tough talking matriarch of the family and the sister of Mpiyakhe, in the Mzansi Magic telenovela-turned-soap-opera isiBaya.
She won the inaugural Outstanding Lead Actress award at the Royalty Soapie Awards in March 2014 for her role in isiBaya.
In 2021 she joined the Netflix series How to Ruin Christmas for the sequel subtitled The Funeral. She plays Aunt Prudence who arrives on the scene after the death of her sister Twala (Nandi Nyembe).
