David Paetkau is a Canadian actor best known for his roles as Evan Lewis in the 2003 film Final Destination 2 (in which his character meets a grisly fate with a ladder) and the deceased Beck McKaye in the television series Whistler, from 2006-2007.

He has also appeared in I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006) and Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007).

Paetkau also had a starring role in the police procedural television series Flashpoint, from 2008-2012.
