Bio

Caitlin Wachs (pronounced "wax") is an American actress best known for her television roles as Chloe Waters in Profiler and as Rebecca Calloway in Commander In Chief.

In both instances her characters were daughters of the leading ladies.

Wachs began her screen career at age 3, in the role of Jeannie Donovan #3 on the soapie Days Of Our Lives (1992).

Three years later, in 1995, she played the role of Bridget Forrester on another soapie, The Bold And The Beautiful, appearing in four episodes.

With guest appearances in The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air in 1995 and Early Edition in 1997; as well as roles in the made-for-TGV movies Race Against Time: The Search for Sarah (1996) and Shattered Mind (1996), Wachs had plenty of experience on screen when accepting the role as Chloe Waters on Profiler in 1996.

Her character was the daughter of Dr. Samantha 'Sam' Waters (Ally Walker), a forensic psychologist working for the Violent Crimes Task Force based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Wachs appeared in 40 episodes in the first two seasons of the show, and was replaced in the role for the third season by Evan Rachel Wood, in 1998.

Straight after Profiler, Wachs landed the role of Anna McGrail in To Have & To Hold. Nine of the 13 episodes that were made were broadcast in the US before the series was cancelled.

In 1999 Wachs made guest appearances on the TV shows The Pretender and Popular, and had a role in the movie Shiloh 2: Shiloh Season.

2000 was a bumper year for the actress, with roles in the direct-to-video release Air Bud: World Pup; in the made-for-TV movie Phantom of the Megaplex; in the feature films My Dog Skip, The Next Best Thing and Thirteen Days; and in guest episodes of Judging Amy and Shasta McNasty.

She took a year off in 2001 before appearing in the role of Little Vivi Abbott in the 2002 film Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.

In the same year she scored a leading role in the sitcom Family Affair, appearing in 13 episodes from 2002-2003, when the show was cancelled.

Before the year was out she'd appeared in another direct-to-video movie, Inspector Gadget 2.

In 2004 she had another leading role in a failed sitcom, this time in Cracking Up, which lasted nine episodes before being cancelled. She appeared in six of those episodes.

Wachs had a major supporting role in the teen flick Kids in America in 2005, before starting her turn as the daughter of President Mackenzie Spencer Allen, Rebecca Calloway, in Commander In Chief.

She appeared in all 18 episodes that were made, from 2005-2006.

In 2006 she also played the role of young Mary Worth in the film of the same title, and made guest appearances on the television shows Masters Of Horrors and Shark.

In 2007 she is filming the movie Privileged, a drama directed by Jonah Salander.
