Bio
Gigi Edgley is an Australian actress and recording artist best known for her starring role as Chiana on the science fiction television series Farscape, from 1999-2003.
She also starred as Lara Knight in the action series Rescue Special Ops, from 2009-2011.
Gigi graduated in 1996 with a BA degree from the Queensland University of Technology, and since then has carved an enviable acting career with a long list of credits.
Gigi stole the hearts of sci-fi enthusiasts with her role as Chiana on Farscape. She also starred as a series regular in The Secret Life of Us and her guest appearances include Stingers, Water Rats, Black Jack telemovies and The Day of the Roses.
Gigi has worked internationally over the years on features and pilots in America including Showdown at Area 51, Pop Up Hollywood, Quantum Apocalypse and The Starter Wife.
However she returned to Australia throughout this time to shoot the feature film Newcastle and the documentary Creature Keepers.
She was nominated for the Film Critics Circle Awards for best lead actress in the feature film Last Train to Freo. Other film credits include The Monkey's Mask, Nobody Knows and Final Frontier.
In theatre, Gigi has worked on various productions including, Kill Everything You Love, 4.48 Psychosis, Kakos, The Rover, Boy's Life, Real Girls and Romeo and Juliet.
