Bio

Maya Erskine is an American actress best known for her starring role as Nurse Ji-Sung in the short-lived medical drama series Heartbeat.

A Los Angeles native, Erskine studied theatre at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts and then went on to the theater program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

After graduation, she continued to immerse herself in the theater by performing with the East West Players and at the Geffen Playhouse. She was nominated for Best Supporting Actress as Ophelia in Hamlet for the 2013 L.A. Weekly Theater Awards.

Erskine was the female lead on the Amazon show Betas. Other TV credits include FXX's Man Seeking Woman and HBO's Insecure.

Erskine also writes, produces and recently shot a presentation for The Lonely Island's Party Over Here.
