Bio
Andre Velts is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Hugo Nel in the kykNET musical youth drama series Sterlopers.
In 2006 he appeared in his first international movie, The Raven. In 2007 he landed another international movie called Tunnel Ratz, in which he played Private Bevis in the Vietnam War.
In 2008 he landed two main theatre productions, Paul - which played at the KKNK - and Nag van Legio, in which he played and ill-tempered man. While performing in theatre he also appeared in the TV drama series Hillside, playing Dr Zane in the ICU.
He was the main lead in the the movie Bloedspoor, in 2008. Andre also played in several short films: 5 min Late, Sieklus, Canvas, Acting Heroes and several theatre productions like Babbelkous en Bruidegom, Hardloop Dominee and Wetters.
In 2013 he had a role in the kykNET period drama Donkerland, which he followed up with a leading role in the kykNET musical youth drama Sterlopers.
