Bio

Chichi Letswalo is a South African television actress and presenter, best known for co-presenting the SABC3 reality programme The Wedding Show in 2003 with Ed Jordan.

She attended the Akademie vir Dramakuns for two years before her break came.

Born and raised in the Alexandra township outside Johannesburg, Chichi was discovered when producers of The Wedding Show were canvassing shoppers in the Rosebank mall in Joburg.

Chichi reportedly blew the producers away in her interview about her ideal wedding and they offered her the presenting job instead.

She went on to play minor roles in soapies Backstage and Generations, as well as the SABC1 drama Tshisa.

In 2007 she left South Africa and went to New York where she studied at a performing arts school. She returned to South Africa five years later.
