Kelley Menighan Hensley is an American actress best known for her role as savvy businesswoman Emily Stewart on the television soap opera As the World Turns, from 1992-2010.

She took over the role of Emily Stewart on As the World Turns in July 1992. In 2002, she received her first Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress.

Menighan Hensley grew up in Glenview, Illinois, with her parents, Jim and Suzann, and her sisters, Kathleen and Karoline. She attended Southern Methodist University, where she majored in theatre and English and minored in art history.

Her additional training in Los Angeles included dance at the Jane Perry Dance Studio and acting with private coaches. Menighan Hensley also worked for Los Angeles producers Michael and Melissa Trikilis, from whom she gained industry knowledge about everything from budgeting to casting.

In addition to doing regional theatre, Kelley has appeared in the daytime drama Santa Barbara, on the primetime television series America's Most Wanted, and in the television movie, The Gambler: The Luck of The Draw.

Her feature movie credits include Charlie Chaplin, Los Posas Road, and Guns.

Menighan Hensley enjoys collecting antique furniture, quilts and jewelry, as well as working out, cooking and watching old movies.

She and her husband Jon Hensley, who played Holden Snyder on As the World Turns, were married in May 1996 and are parents to daughter Sophie May (born 1998), son Spencer James (born 2002) and daughter Georgia Grace (born 2007).

The couple live in Los Angeles.
