Chris de Clerq is a South African actor best known for his starring role as Walco financial director Paul Brink in the M-Net soap opera Egoli: Place of Gold, from 1992-2000.

Chris started his acting carreer in 1989 when he landed his first commercial in LA, California. By 1992 he was well known in South Africa for his portrayal of Paul Brink on the iconic soap Egoli.

He worked as presenter on the SABC magazine variety show Pasella and later on Reise en Soetkyse, a travel program on kykNET. He also had a starring role in the kykNET/M-Net drama series Dit Wat Stom Is, in 2005.

He owns Africa Divine Films and Divine Acting school and specialises in films, acting in TV productions and corporate DVDs. He also does motivational speeches in his spare time.
