Jonaid Carrera is a South African model, personal trainer, nutritionist, actor and presenter best known as the host of the e.tv dance reality competition Superdance South Africa, in 2009.
He was also one of the 50 semi-finalists for the Mr South Africa 2010 competition.
As a professional MC and presenter of numerous beauty pageants and dance contests, this Westrand, Johannesburg native is no stranger to intense competitions.
A certified personal trainer and health nutritionist, Jonaid works hard at maintaining his physique and proudly shows it off in his modelling and acting gigs.
Before his first hosting gig on Superdance SA, Jonaid was recognisable from a popular television commercial for Sho't Left, a government campaign to encourage South Africans to travel in their own country.
Describing himself as a hard-working, highly-motivated individual, Jonaid lives by the motto "If you can dream it, you can do it."
He began co-hosting - with Phuti Khomo - the M-Net Series original reality show Rivals in Romance in January 2011.
