Nicci Rheeder of Missing Children SA and Marcel van der Watt, who worked with many missing persons cases over his years as a member of the SAPS, served as consultants for the writing team. Marcel is currently in Washington, America, where he is the director of a research institution. In Season 2, Ronel finally found Dina and the two were reunited. But in Season 3, things don’t turn out as Ronel hoped they would. Dina has a lot of trauma to process, and the more Ronel tries to help her, the more she drifts away. Will Ronel be able to convince Dina to tell the truth? Will both sisters be able to face their own issues? At the end of Season 2, Charlie and Lux found each other in a romantic kiss. In Season 3, they’re still in a relationship but not without hiccups and setbacks. Charlie is healthy after her gunshot wound, but she is not yet where she wants to be emotionally. The fact that Lux goes out of his way to protect Charlie causes friction. Charlie needs more space, but Lux feels guilty and wants to do everything in his power to make up for it. But is it too late? The team is sad about Deon’s departure, but they also have lots of questions about the strange character Deon hired as his replacement. Zander thinks in curves and four dimensions. Definitely not your average guy, but according to Deon he’s the best detective he has ever worked with. Will the team ever get along with him though, and is he really is as good as Deon thinks?
