HBO anthology series True Detective green lit for Season 5 in the wake of Season 4's finale in America. Seasons 1 to 3 aired on M-Net and are on Showmax but no sign of S4 here yet. It's subtitled Night Country, stars Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as detectives who investigate the disappearance of eight researchers in Alaska on the day the Alaska darkness starts. Cue the movie Insomnia.
