Beautiful Fransisca Owumi, the finalist of Big Brother Nigeria talks about lessons she learnt in the BB house, her love of South Africa and the mystery man in her life.

Brown Shuga: Hello Franca, thank you so much for doing this interview with me.
What is the one question that you just know I am going to ask you?
Franca: Ebuka, everybody's always asking me about the Ebuka issue.
Brown Shuga: Ok, will be sure not to disappoint you there. What are you up to at the moment?
Franca: Well I've just been busy working towards being a presenter, going for auditions and I've been doing interviews as well. I've also been working on releasing my single.
BS: And how has the public been treating you? Have you been feeling a lot of love? Franca: Not too much love. Some people love you, some people hate you and some people diss you, so it's been a lot of mixed emotions but whatever anyone that comes with anything, I say, Bring it on!!
BS: What opportunities have you been presented with since you left the house?
Franca: At the moment, no opportunities have been presented but I'm keeping my eye out for things.
BS: And your studies?
Franca: I've been trying very hard not to miss my exams. They've given me a month off for the tours and I will go back to write my exams.
BS: You won a trip to Australia, when are you going? Franca: I am not sure of the date yet but it might be towards the end of August.
BS: Who are you taking with you to Australia? Franca: I am not sure because it sound like they want me to go alone, but we will see.
BS: No, they cannot do that to you! How can you win a trip overseas and they say go alone? There should be somebody to at least take pictures??
Franca: I know, but we will see, nothing's been confirmed yet.
Fransisca the BBN Housemates: BS: Are you close to any of your housemates? Franca: I wouldn't say so. Katung is the only person that really understood me, even in the house. We connected well with Katung and I got on well with him, better than anybody else. With Ebuka, I thought we were close but he was neither here nor there.
BS: You know I had a mini-crush on Katung!!!
Franca: Oh you too???? Everybody has a crush on Katung.
BS: Yeah I know, it pisses me off. Whom did you share hotel rooms with when you recently visited SA & Ghana? Franca: I did not share a room with anyone because I love my privacy.
BS: Did the other guys share rooms? Franca: Yeah, they had to share rooms but I opted to be alone.
BS: Which one impressed you the most, Ghana or SA? (Honestly) Franca: Well, Ghana is ok but South Africa is interesting, there are so many places one can go and see like Cape Town, though I did not get a chance to visit. I mean Soweto has a story to tell, SA was interesting I really enjoyed it because it's a place that you will always remember.
BS: That sounds great, so what did you do when you were here? Franca: I had an interview on Oboma (Channel O) and it was great, we had so much fun. We went to Club Uhuru and we did other clubs as well. We met different people; we even met the Ambassador of Nigeria to SA. Some housemates went shopping for family etc it was a lotta fun.
BS: Why did Mudiaga come to SA?
Franca: I don't know why but maybe he just wanted to spend some time with Ify, and maybe do some things here. I don't know for sure but I think he wanted to just cherish time with his girlfriend.
BS: During the final show, they showed you and Katung snippets from your stay in the house and for the first time, you found out that Helen & Ebuka kissed in the house, right under your nose. What went through your mind when you saw that? Franca: Oh my goodness! I don't know if you noticed but I was dumbfounded for some minutes! I was lost, I was like: "When did that happen?", "Where was I?". It kept on playing in my mind over and over again. I knew that when I got out of the house I'd probably get shocked with some of the things but that was just…I mean, I know that at the end of the day it is just a game and he wasn't my boyfriend or fiancé and I could not stop him but I was really shocked when I saw that.
BS: Shame, I remember seeing that and saying: "No!! Why show her now? It would have been better if you had seen it at home, without us watching. Franca: I know, that was really shocking to see!!! I couldn't believe it.
BS: Are they (Ebuka & Helen) together now? Franca: I can't say whether or not they are together, I am not sure. The only people who are definitely still together are Chinedu & Joan, Maureen & Gideon. Then there are other two housemates who are in a secret relationship, trying to see if they are doing the right thing.
BS: Who are you talking about? Is it you and Ebuka? Is it Ify and Katung, Sandy and Joe? Franca: Ha! Ebuka and me, not in a million years!!!! I cannot tell you man, Ify has a boyfriend and Sandy and Joe are just good friends. They are two people you would least expect to be having a relationship.
BS: Sounds like you won't be telling me anything. So what do you think of Helen now?
Franca: I have a better view of her now. She is still the same Helen though, she makes you feel positive when talking to her etc but I have not had a chance to talk to her one on one.
BS: Is there any lesson that you learnt from this Ebuka issue? Franca: Yes,
1. Never make a guy feel special or make him feel that he's all that when he's actually not. 2. Never make a guy feel uncomfortable.
3. Never rely on people.
Katung was a distraction for me when he got in the house, we really got on well. I liked him a lot but I could not now turn my attention to him because of the Ebuka issue.
BS: Francisca, are you saying what I think you're saying?? Franca: Ha ha!! I liked him but I thought people would say that first it was Ebuka and now Katung so I had to stick to Ebuka.
BS: My goodness! But after Ebuka left the house, some viewers did say that you now wanted Katung? Franca: Yeah people are free to say what they want but Katung and I are just friends; he was somebody that I could relate to in the house. He actually treats me like his baby sister now.
BS: Whenever you were up for eviction, your Aunt Pat was there and she sounded like such a wise woman. What did she have to say about the Ebuka issue?
Franca: She just told me that she would like it if I remained friends with him and not stretch it. I however felt that Ebuka was leading me on in the house.
BS: Yes, I agree with that because though he made it clear in the diary room sessions, he never came out to you and said: "Fransisca, I am not interested in you". Franca: Yes, he did not say no. Actually once I was talking to him about Helen, telling him that if he likes Helen, I will let him go and not stop him. He then asked me if I was tired of him and not interested anymore. Now that's what I call leading me on.
BS: On your post eviction interview posted on the BBN website, you kept on saying that you do not trust people anymore, obviously because of what your fellow housemates did to you? Franca: Yes I was disappointed; I mean Sandra was a typical example. I could not believe what happened; I was like, what the hell? I had my worst and best moments in that house; I went through the most horrible things ever but I've always said that whatever comes my way I would overcome it and I did.
BS: I remember during the final show when Olisa came into the house, he asked you what your best asset was and you said: it's your heart. I was like, wow! That is so true because you would walk in on people gossiping about you and the next minute you'd be seen laughing with them???? Franca: I always say that if people do not talk about you then you do not exist, so I just had to forget about that and focus.
BS: Do you have regrets about anything you did in the house? Franca: No, I don't regret anything because I was not there to impress anyone.
Fransisca the Celebrity BS: What's your favourite TV show Franca: Oprah Winfrey Show.
BS: When was the last time you kissed someone? Franca: It's been a while
BS: You don't have a boyfriend? Franca: No but I do have someone special though.
BS: Is it Ebuka? Franca: Hell No, it's not him. He's somebody who's very well known but I'm not saying.
BS: Is he an actor, musician, is it 2Face? At least tell us what he does? Franca: I can't say but it's definitely not 2Face. If he approached me, I would just laugh about it.
BS: What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
Franca: I haven't done anything crazy.
BS: Do you have a moment that's very special to you? Franca: I think every moment I'm alive is very special to me because if I wasn't alive then I wouldn't have a chance to really enjoy my life.
BS: Who is the sexiest TV star? Franca: Halle Berry
BS: Damn gal, you're not going to mention a guy? What about Taye Diggs? Franca: Ok, if I have to mention a black man it'd be Morris Chestnut!!
BS: Ooh!! Sista you're killing me.
Franca: He is a cutie, hey?

BS: What is your most embarrassing moment? Franca: It was actually in the Big Brother house, during the food week. It was when Ify was presenting our food, I pee'd on myself. She was so funny and I was really pressed so I was laughing so hard, it just happened and I couldn't help it!
BS: You what? We didn't see anything! Did any of the housemates notice?
Franca: No, I told them afterwards though.
BS: If we had seen it, the public would have made sure you do not forget that it happened. Franca: Yeah, I'm glad nobody noticed.
