Genre: Reality

KwaNjomane 2

KwaNjomane showcases a unique family with an unconventional lifestyle.

Each episode follows the lives of the Mhlongos led by matriarch Smangele Mhlongo, alongside her children and sister, who have long been stigmatised by their community due to their lifestyle.

The family believes in challenging societal norms and seeking answers, while navigating the universal quest for love.

Smangele Mhlongo is a strong and independent gobela who, together with her children, embarks on a journey that explores their sexuality, spiritual encounters and uncovers universal truths about life.

Secrets, lies, reconciliation and laughter are woven into their narrative, all while they confront the complexities of their desire for love.

Meet some of the Mhlongo family members:

Sibonelo "Chicken" Mhlongo

Smangele's second-born, Sibonelo is a gay man who struggles with self-acceptance.

He has been rejected by his extended family and is trying to find his place in the world.

Sibonelo manages the family's social media page and hopes to use the platform to raise awareness about LGBTQ+ issues.

Hlengiwe MaMhlongo Ngubane

Smangele's older sister, Hlengiwe is a devout christian and a single mother who is trying to raise her children to be good people - but faces struggles like most single mothers.

Over and above this, she is trying to come to terms with some devastating news and we follow her journey to deal and uncover the truth.

The Masked Singer SA 2

Channel: SABC1
TX Time: 21h00
Genre: Reality Competition, Music

The Masked Singer SA 2

Comedian and TV personality Mpho Popps is the host of the local version of the show based on the South Korean series Masked Singer.

Mpho will be joined by a panel of celebrity detectives consisting of J. Something of MiCasa fame, serial reality slut Somizi Mhlongo, socialite and DJ Sithelo Shozi and comedian Skhumba Hlophe.

In every episode celebrated, personalities and entertainment superstars sing well-known songs while bejewelled in full-body costumes and masks to hide their identities.

The flamboyant masks and costumes have personalities of their own and invite as much commentary as the performances themselves do.

A celebrity panel of detectives must guess who is behind the mask.

The studio audience is a rich component of the show, voting together with the celebrity detectives for their favourite performance.

At the end of the show, the least popular performers are eliminated, but not before the mask is removed to reveal their identity.

Who is really behind the mask? Is it possible to reframe how others see us or maybe play a little with solid identities?

Some rugby players may turn out to be the best singers – who knows?

90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? 8

Fan-favourite faces return for an all-new season of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, which dives back into the lives of some of the franchise's most popular couples as they continue to test the waters of their relationships while navigating life in America.

The first spinoff of the 90 Day franchise, this series revisits the most memorable couples from previous seasons.

The frenzied countdown to the altar may be behind them, but the real drama has just begun to unfold.

Whether it's family tensions or cultural differences, age gaps or language barriers, these relationships experience more ups and downs than usual.

Is the honeymoon over for these couples or will they prove their love is stronger than ever?

Below are the 90 Day couples who will be featured on the upcoming season (with two others who haven't yet been announced):

Kobe (36, Cameroon) and Emily (31, Kansas)

With two kids and her parents in tow, Emily accompanies Kobe on a pilgrimage to his home country of Cameroon for the first time.

Emily can't wait to meet her husband's family, whom she's never met before, but soon finds herself hard pressed to prove she can be a good Cameroonian wife.

Alexei (35, Israel) and Loren (35, Florida)

After having three kids in three years, Loren and Alexei are finally ready to hit the brakes on baby making.

But when Loren reveals her plans for a major life overhaul, Alexei worries about losing the balance they've finally found.

Can the couple find happiness as individuals while keeping their family together?

Mahmoud (31, Egypt) and Nicole (40, California)

After four years in Egypt, Nicole has returned to LA in hopes that she and Mahmoud can make a life together in America.

As Nicole rediscovers herself in Los Angeles, how will Mahmoud cope with the huge cultural differences he's about to face?

Will they be able to find common ground or are their differences too much to overcome?

Thais (26, Brazil) and Patrick (33, Nevada)

When Thais left Brazil to be with Patrick, she hid from her family that she intended to marry him, which caused a lot of tension during their 90 days.

Now the couple is traveling back to Thais' hometown for the first time since the birth of their daughter and they hope they can mend relationships, chiefly with Thais' father who still expects Patrick to ask for his daughter's hand in marriage.

But things take a turn for the worse when Patrick's rowdy brother John tags along on the trip and Patrick's father shows up with some unexpected demands.

Jasmine (36, Panama) and Gino (54, Michigan)

Gino and Jasmine had a rocky 90 days and now, they both feel betrayed when certain agreements aren't followed through on, leaving their future hanging in the balance.

Will Jasmine stay in the US long enough for the couple to find happiness? Or will Gino's mistakes drive Jasmine back to Panama?

Liz (31, Arkansas) and Ed (58, Arkansas)

Following a successful therapy retreat in Florida, Ed and Liz have settled in Arkansas and are planning the wedding of their dreams.

But the two still have a lot to overcome, including making sure Liz's daughter is well-adjusted in their new home, and coping with the mounting financial pressure of a move and a wedding.

Will the couple finally walk down the aisle or collapse one last time?

Michael (35, Nigeria) and Angela (57, Georgia)

After years of waiting and multiple visa denials, Michael has finally secured a make-or-break spousal visa interview.

Angela joins him in Africa to prepare for the most important day of their lives.

But a cascade of unsettling discoveries leaves Angela grappling with the darkest doubts she's ever faced about her marriage.

Will Michael finally get to see Georgia?

Can Angela finally exorcise the demons that have shadowed their relationship. Or will she cancel the visa for good?

In the Season 8 premiere, "Once Upon a Rocky Relationship": Jasmine keeps a secret from Gino and Mahmoud prepares to leave everything he knows.

Rob worries that Sophie has moved on with someone else and Emily's American ways might be at odds with Kobe's African family.

Also, Manuel's private nature tests his marriage.

Survivor 38: Edge of Extinction

Channel: S3
TX Time: 18h00
Genre: Reality Competition

Survivor 38: Edge of Extinction

NOTE: this show was advertised as starting in October 2023 and January 2024, but it was removed from the schedule without warning on both occasions.

This edition, themed "Edge of Extinction," features 18 castaways divided into two equal tribes, the Manu Tribe and the Kama Tribe.

Four returning players will join the 14 castaways who will be competing for the first time.

The returning castaways are Joe Anglim (Worlds Apart, Second Chance), Aubry Bracco (Kaoh Rong, Game Changers), Kelley Wentworth (Second Chance, San Juan del Sur) and David Wright (Millennials vs. Gen-X).

This season presents a new layer to the game with the introduction of the island known as "Edge of Extinction," which severely tests the will of the castaways to be the Sole Survivor and what they are willing to endure to make that happen.

Those who can withstand the emotionally and physically difficult challenge will be afforded a shot for one of them to get back in the game and continue their quest for $1-million.

These new and returning castaways will be forced to compete against each other with the same ultimate goal: to outwit, outplay and outlast each other, and in the end only one will remain to claim the title of Sole Survivor.

The show was filmed in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji, and is hosted by Jeff Probst.
