S3 has acquired the rights to the international reality show Wife Swap and the search is on for wives and families who want to be part of it.
The essence of the format: two wives/mothers swap lives by moving in with each other's families.
Reality stalwarts Rapid Blue (Come Dine With Me SA, Strictly Come Dancing) are producing our edition and the switcheroo will last for six days in total.
The format:
The two women of each household trade places for six days to see what it's like to live in another family's home. It won't interfere with their normal everyday work life, but instead of returning to their own home, they'll return to their new family’s home.
For the first three days of the challenge, they will fit into their new family's lifestyle, and adopt their daily routine - which may be far removed from their own!
For the remaining three days, they'll have the opportunity to bring their own ideas into the running of the new household.
Once the challenge is complete, both families meet up and talk about their experiences. They will discuss how the time has affected their own relationship, and what they have learnt from the experience.
Who can apply?
You need to be a legal South African resident over the age of 18.
You should reside in either Gauteng, Western Cape or KwaZulu-Natal.
