This special edition of the show features contestants from South Africa and Nigeria.
A group of ordinary individuals, chosen from thousands of hopefuls, live together in a specially constructed house, isolated from the outside world, watched 24/7 by viewing audiences across the country.
At regular intervals housemates will nominate each other for eviction.
The housemates who get the most nominations will have to survive a viewer vote. If they don't, they're evicted out of the game.
Only the last person remaining at the end takes home the mega jackpot.
Along the way Big Brother, that infamous and legendary character at the centre of it all, introduces his own twists and turns into the game.
BB Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and BB Mzansi host Lawrence Maleka will co-host this debut season.
The winner of the series wins a $100,000 cash prize.

Miss Universe 2022

Miss Universe 2022 takes place in 2023 and will be the 71st edition of the competition, to be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States.
Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event.
This is the first pageant since the ownership of Miss Universe changed hands last year. Thailand-based JKN Global Group bought the Miss Universe Organization from WME/IMG in October 2022.
The competition will be hosted by How Do I Look? presenter Jeannie Mai and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo who replace Steve Harvey who has hosted six pageants to date.
84 contestants will be competing this year.
South Africa is represented by Miss South Africa Ndavi Nokeri.
The pageant will be rebroadcast on 1Magic on Monday 16 January at 22h00.

The series introduces viewers to the inner workings of a human trafficking syndicate, through the life of young Ntokozo, played by Lungelo Mpangase.
Masasa Mbangeni plays Joyce, a woman whose child (Ntokozo) gets stolen at birth, only to later cross each other's paths when a human trafficking syndicate shocks the community.
Dumisani Mbebe also stars as Terror, a businessman who Joyce later discovers is not the person she thought he was.
Also starring are Nolwazi Shange as Sibongile, Luzuko Nkqeto as Qiniselo, Ncibijana Madlala as Godfrey and Zimkitha Kumbaca as Busisiwe.
Oros Mampofu has a recurring role as Musa.
