It makes me so, SO happy that Helen Mirren didn't win you can't believe.

I was convinced she would because of how special everyone (including herself!) thinks she is but it would have been insane if she'd won because she's so unbelievably BAD in Catherine The Great. It's insane that she was even nominated! 

It was the worst show of 2019 by far. It's supposed to be about a Russian queen but her portrayal is so far removed from being Russian even a Russian sausage is closer!

Honestly, the show's a joke because of it - nothing about it is Russian which defeats the point completely. It's like the story takes place in a posh British court with no sense of cultural authenticity.

I managed to suffer through one episode but that was it.
