A reminder that Isidingo turns the Big Two One this Sunday (7 July 2019).

As we spilt last month, the soapie's celebrating with a two-episode special tonight (Friday, 5 July) and on Monday (8th), starring the return of Michelle Botes as South African TV's legendary villain Cherel.

Cherel headlines tonight's episode and Lincoln Sibeko (Lindani Nkosi) headlines on Monday where he'll be sharing a different aspect of himself.

To mark the occasion we thought it would be fun to go vintage and reload Isidingo's original 1998 title sequence from the very first episode.

Soapies in SA usually acknowledge and make a big deal of the 20 year mark. Did Isidingo not celebrate their 20th birthday last year? why make a big deal of the 21st?

@Goku sana i thnk for them doing this they are attracting more viewers to the show masibanike chance baby wam please mann, i want to see Lincoln's story i just saw him now .@qavile sana wht date???? 1997??,, @dezi.. its like doing a 30th bday and 31st bday i thnk sana hahahahahahhaa

@QQ ahh come on couldn't they get Ma Agnes,Rajesh or Barker to tell part 2, I mean Lincon is a newbie on Isidingo even Sechaba has a far better story to tell than Lincoln

I suspect none of them want anything to do with Isidingo considering how badly they were treated when they left, with no fanfare or any appreciation for their contribution by the show.
Maybe Ma Agnes would be different but I'd be very "speak to the hand" if I were the other two.
