The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair

Based on the novel, this series stars Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy) in the title role as Harry Quebert, a literary icon who suddenly finds himself indicted for murder after the body of a young girl is found buried on his property.

The series takes place in coastal Maine and focuses on Marcus Goldman, who is visiting Harry Quebert's home to find a cure for his writer's block as his publisher's deadline looms.

Marcus' plans are suddenly upended when Harry is sensationally implicated in the cold-case murder of Nola Kellergan, a 15-year-old girl who has been missing for many years.

Each episode sees the chefs hit by real-world challenges like finding workarounds when all the essential ingredients are suddenly "out-of-stock," or having to create a masterpiece when they can only cook with "5 items or less" or on a $10 budget.

In the end, the food does the talking, as the last chef standing has the chance to make some serious cash.

Speaking from the jail cell where he was incarcerated for 22 years, Goldberg describes his journey into the shadowy world of the underground resistance against apartheid, his dramatic arrest, prison and his controversial release.

His past, with the scarring on his family life, leaves him at time a troubled older man, after he returns home to Cape Town.

In the series premiere, the zoo doctors go into hero mode, rescuing 16 macaws from a hoarding situation in Alabama, taking cheetah Emmet into a shoulder surgery.

In the season premiere, Chambers attends a talk by the Reverend Nathaniel Todd, a key part of the Civil Rights movement in America. During the event, protestors disrupt Todd's speech and release fireworks, causing the audience to panic, leading to a crush as dozens of people try to escape through a locked door.

In the chaos, a man is stabbed and killed by an unseen assailant. The murder sees racial tensions spike and Keating is called in.
