First it was Robert Whitehead's Barker and now another Isidingo legend exits stage left: Rajesh Kumar, brought to life for over 15 years by Jack Devnarain.

The soapie's been loudly Silent about his departure - as they've been about Robert's - so Jack has taken matters into his own hands by announcing it on his Facebook page.

Time for Isidingo to make a curtain call. Replace it with a soapie that will attract more than 1 million viewers. Maybe a soapie produced by a South African company. It's shocking how Endemol has gotten away with contract after contract with such dismal ratings for the past 6 - 7 years.

I stopped watching when Nina bought the judge and got Gabriel released. It just got distasteful to me for some reason. I also got tired of Nina and Nikiwe's endless feud and the ever-angry-bitter husband (Hendrik).

Anyway, good luck to Rajesh and Barker.
