Rendani runs away from home, but is forced to return by Aluwani, and Neo has no choice but to leave for Jo'burg without her. Rendani stands up to her father who blames Tshilidzi for their defiant daughters.

Thando successfully manipulates Ruth to allow her to stay on in Mandla's spare room much to Sli's disgust. Rendani cannot forgive Luthendo for outing her to Aluwani about running away to Jo'burg. Luthendo is bitter and further undermines her relationship with Neo.
