That's it folks, it's over.
The Young and the Restless will no longer be available in South Africa from the second week of July.
It's been cancelled by e.tv after airing on the channel for 13 years.
e.tv hasn't stated a reason for the culling but we presume the show isn't earning enough to make the purchase of the broadcast rights viable.
Especially when all the channel needs to do is replace it with endless re-re-repeats of old eKasi stories. Talk about a yawn-fest! eKasi repeats start as soon as Y&R ends and the first stories to be featured date back to
2014.
