A heads-up that the organisation of these auditions has been all over the place. First we were given the incorrect dates and now the date of the first venue has changed again.
Auditions were supposed to start in PE on Tuesday, 14 March but now they're only happening on Wednesday, 15 March. They're happening at the PE Opera House.
These are the latest details:
Renewed!
SABC1's DJ search 1's and 2's has been renewed by the channel and the search for contestants is
on.
The series, which pits hotshot DJ's against each other in a battle for the winning title, will be back in May this year and castings are happening as we speak.
Entries are happening online and will also be held in three cities in
March. If you have what it takes to win the show, this is what you need to know:
Who can enter?
You need to be a South African citizen to enter, over the age of 18.
You must have a rack that you've produced yourself.
You can't have any contracts for your music or music career.

The auditions are happening in Port Elizabeth, Durban and Joziburg on these dates:

Doors open at 08h00.
The Durban and Joziburg venues haven't been finalised yet - we'll update here once confirmed so bookmark this page and pop in to check back.
The prize
The winner will win the title of 2017 Master of Spin and production and DJ equipment and software to the value of R100,000.
