Feeling settled in wedded bliss, Maya shares with Rick the next step that she would like to take in their marriage. Uneasy with Steffy’s assignment, Ivy reluctantly goes along with the idea knowing that her job at Forrester Creations depends on it.
Liam is honest about his disapproval when Steffy reveals what she has planned for Ivy. Well aware that Ivy is uncomfortable with her new position within the company; Wyatt gives her the encouragement that she needs to follow through with her task. Zende hints to Nicole that he would like to take their relationship to the next level.

Knowing that Zende has a date with Nicole, Pam and Charlie give him advice on what kind of activities they should do that evening. Steffy gets a mixed reaction from Bill and Katie when she tells them about the new position she assigned to Ivy.
Wyatt gives Ivy a daring task that he hopes will assist her in getting over her fears surrounding her new job. Nicole must consider Zende’s feelings before making a decision about an important matter.

Nicole anticipates the worst case scenario when telling Zende an idea that she is contemplating regarding her future. Steffy explains to Bill and Katie her reasoning for hiring Ivy back in a capacity other than as a jewelry designer.
When his plan backfires, Wyatt gives Ivy a pep talk about not allowing Steffy to have the satisfaction of coming out on top. Rick and Maya await word on whether or not their plan for the future will move forward.

As word gets out about Caroline’s pregnancy, Ridge stresses the need for privacy regarding the blessed event. Prompted by Liam’s diatribe about their rivalry, Ivy and Steffy sit down to hash out their differences.
Unable to keep the exciting news to herself, Pam spills the beans about Caroline’s pregnancy to a very confused Brooke. Steffy gets the surprise of her life when she learns from Liam that she is going to be a big sister again.

Having witnessed behavior from Thomas that she disapproves of, Steffy confronts her brother regarding his intentions. Soon-to-be parents, Ridge and Caroline, are bursting with love and joy as they prepare to see their child for the first time during a sonogram appointment.
