A hostage situation at the Xulu house becomes very intense. MaNzuza is concerned about both her boys losing their lives as multiple gun shots are heard inside the Xulu house. Dhlomo and Mondli enter the Xulu house to be greeted by a bloodbath.

Episode 53
MaNgcobo fights for her life. MaNzuza suspects Mxolisi is back in the criminal world. MaMlambo sees a dark cloud over Ayanda and Mxolisi and doubts they will ever find peace. Ayanda and Mxolisi fight. Ayanda apologizes to MaNgcobo who is comatose. Mxolisi tells MaNzuza he’s not a criminal.

Episode 54
It’s not looking good for a MaNgcobo, and the doctors have news that will require something drastic to be done. Ayanda faces the church board, and a decision about his future is taken. Investigations about the shooting are rife, and the involved parties have to agree on the version of events.

Ayanda makes it clear to Mxolisi that he will not fabricate the truth when he gives the police his statement. Nosipho is devastated when she believes she is in love with a married man. Pastor Nkosi dazzles the entire church with his passion and charisma.

Episode 56
Ayanda notices a spark from Sibahle. Pastor Nkosi wins Ayanda over but it looks like he might be back with his old tendencies. Mondli learns that he’s a father and Nosipho learns the truth about Mondli’s past. MaNgcobo puts Ayanda between a rock and a hard place. Smangele saves Ayanda’s sanity again. MaNzuza loses a grip on her sons.

Pastor Nkosi convinces Ayanda not to trust Mamlambo. Mondli questions MaNgcobo about Zakhele’s death MaNgcobo burns Zakhele’s clothes. Thandeka warns Nosipho that Mantwa is after Mondli. Pastor Nkosi convinces Ayanda not to trust MaMlambo.

MaNgcobo is pushed to the edge by Zakhele’s sister and she blows a fuse. Ayanda is concerned by the direction that Pastor Nkosi is taking the church but Pastor Nkosi has the board wrapped around his finger. Nosipho is elated when Mondli wants her to meet his son.

The new pastor is about to shake things up, and some of the members are not too thrilled with what he has to say. MaNzuza tells MaMlambo some hard truths. Ayanda tells MaNzuza that he will not be going to MaNgcobo because Mxolisi is there. Mamlambo tells MaNgcobo that culturally, she has to mourn for Zakes.

Smangele’s heart is broken in the most cruel. MaNgcobo has heart palpitations when Jabulile shows up determination to find out what happened to her son. Nosipho is willing to do all that she can to prove that Mantwa is scamming Mondli.

After challenging Pastor Nkosi in meetings, MaNlambo is in for a big shock that is sure to shut her up for good. MaNgcobo’s sister finally gets the chance to visit her son in jail, which has devastating effects. GC and Thobile comfort a grief-stricken Smangele. Nosipho offers Mantwa a facial as an olive branch.
